In the name of the most high


It is undeniable that the growth and development of a society and its organizations depend on continuous learning. That is, to avoid ‘trial and error’ process and it is in your best use to appreciate the others' experiences. Adaption is the first step for understanding the complexity of challenges that all human societies are faced with. Social systems have many challenges in common.

Global experience, especially in recent  centuries, shows that  tactful nations have tried to learn from others to get rid of deficiency. To be developed, does not have to be linear and continuous for a country to advance. Adaptation of other societies makes nations skip the whole way from weaknesses to strong suit without spending a lot of time and money. It was Japanese who taught this to other developing countries for the first time. Over the last two decades, Chinese have proved that they are amazingly wise learners. They perfectly adapted the Japanese model (their former occupiers).


Education system as one of the largest social systems is no exception to this rule. Generally, the problems of education are global; so are its solutions.  With a little tact, they can be used in the native / local context. Comparative education [2] like other comparative sciences (e.g. comparative politics, comparative law and comparative management) tries to indicate that we are not forced to compromise the challenges and problems of our education system for a lifetime. While the universe is changing quickly, education system cannot and should not  be in a vicious circle of classical / old problems.The education system must resolve its old problems as soon as possible and welcome new ones. Sometimes new concerns are signals of moving forward. Not paying attention  to resolving old problems results in an assortment of problems as the new ones raised. Comparative education is a science that uses others' knowledge and experience and seeks to demonstrate the fact that reinventing others' inventions is not necessarily the best way to solve problems. Accordingly, the quick global use of knowledge combined with the application of appropriate environmental changes is the main recommendation of this science. It is clear that the prerequisite for any local change is to apply and test the global solutions.


Being cognizant of the educational systems' special position and their role in social and political developments in the last two decades has led to the establishment of the World Association for Comparative Education and more than 40 national associations of comparative education. As a result, this field is one of the most dynamic ones and of high-interest rates among politicians, scientists in various fields of humanities, educators, and educational planners. Contrary to the global trend, in our country, this scientific field is less discussed, studied, and researched by researchers. Thus, the available resources in this field are very limited. Despite Iran's enormous potential - which is based on the existence and presence of dozens of thinkers and researchers in the field of educational sciences - to reap the benefits of the invaluable global experiences, unfortunately, Iran's alliance with the scientific sources of comparative education field's upheavals hasn't been effective. Establishing a Comparative Education Association is the first step in making this connection. It would enable researchers in various fields of educational sciences to get acquainted with the current intellectual situations prevailing in the field by quickly reviewing the developments of comparative education science. Besides, these streams of thought support the Iranian researchers to get equipped with a completely new look toward their field and its developments in other universities and research institutes all around the world. The association also provides a wide set of opportunities for researchers through holding national and international workshops and conferences to gain a better understanding of comparative research methods. One of the rudimentary goals of the Iranian Association of Comparative Education is to invite researchers and scientists in various fields of educational sciences to visit  this country in order to have a mutual acquaintance with educational developments. Last but not least, the association will serve as an experimental center for all educational policymakers and planners, administrators and teachers, professors, and students in the fields of educational sciences, psychology, sociology, and those who are enthusiasts of education system issues.

آموزش و پرورش تطبیقی ایران

انجمن اموزش و پرورش تطبیقی ایران در سال 1394 به منظور گسترش ، پیشبرد و ارتقای علم اموزش و پرورش تطبیقی و تقویت موسسات ، دانشگاه ها و سازمان های آموزشی - پژوهشی و بهبود فعالیت های تخصصی در زمینه های مرتبط تشگیل گردید. اهم اهداف و خدمات انجمن به شرح زیر می باشد : 
1. تلاش در جهت ایجاد زمینه های مناسب برای تولید دانش در دو نظام آموزش عالی و نظام آموزش و پرورش 
2. اشاعه و توسعه پژوهش های علمی تطبیقی در سه سطح ملی ، منطقه ای و بین المللی 
3. ارایه مشاوره های علمی - تخصصی در زمینه های گوناگون به سازمان ها و دستگاه های اجرایی ، آموزشی و پژوهشی به ویژه دانشگاه ها و موسسات آموزش عالی و بخش آموزش و منابع انسانی کلیه وزارت خانه ها 
4. ترغیب و تشویق پژوهشگران و تجلیل از اعضای هیات علمی که به رشد و تعالی علم آموزش و پرورش تطبیقی و پیشبرد اهداف آن کمک می نمایند. 
5. تشکیل گردهمایی های علنی در سطح ملی ، متطقه ای و بین المللی با هدف بررسی موضوعات و مسایل دو نظام آموزشی و آموزش عالی از منظر مطالعات تطبیقی 
6. همکاری با انجمن ها ، سازمان ها و مراکز علمی داخلی و بین المللی که در زمینه علم آموزش و پرورش تطبیقی فعالیت دارند. 
7. ایحاد شبکه های علمی - تخصصی نخبگان و اندیشمندان ملی و بین المللی و تسهیل برقراری ارتباط بین آنان 
8. انتشار مجله ، کتاب و نشریات علمی 
9. ارایه خدمات آموزشی ، پژوهشی و مشاوره ای از طریق برگزاری کارگاه های علمی و سایر شیوه های مرسوم
